چکیده
Background. The problem of studying lipid metabolism in patients with tuberculosis is interest to scientists around the world. purpose study - investigate profile pulmonary concurrent insulin resistance. Materials and methods. Forty-one were examined. Insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), total cholesterol level (TC), triglycerides (TG) level, high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, low (LDL) very-low-density (VLDL) atherogenic (AI) measured. Results. Group 1 26 (HOMA-IR ˃ 2.7); 2 – 15 without ˂ 2.7). had severe course TB fever, fatigue weakness, profuse sweating, weight loss, cough shortness breath. Median TC indices differed at significant (p = 0.012): group 4.82 mmol/l, 4.25 mmol/l. TG was higher 1.32 mmol/l than 1.28 LDL values 3.2 vs 2.5 2. AI group1 0.005): 3.9 units against 2.8 patients. Conclusions. associated disease, clinical manifestations impaired external respiration. Pro-atherogenic disorders can be considered as degree endogenous intoxication.

Effect of Eight Weeks of Concurrent Training on Liver Enzymes, Lipid Profile, and Insulin Resistance Among Overweight Male Children
Aims: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of combined exercise training (aerobic-resistance) on liver enzymes, lipid profile, and insulin resistance among overweight boys. Method: Thirty-two healthy overweight boys voluntarily agreed to take part in the study following the related announcement. The overweight children were randomly divided into control (n = 16) a...
متن کاملInsulin Resistance Predicts Atherogenic Lipoprotein Profile in Nondiabetic Subjects
BACKGROUND Atherogenic diabetes is associated with an increased cardiovascular risk and mortality in diabetic individuals; however, the impact of insulin resistance (IR) in lipid metabolism in preclinical stages is generally underreported. For that, we evaluated the capacity of IR to predict an atherogenic lipid subfraction profile. METHODS Complete clinical evaluation and biochemical analysi...
متن کاملThe Lipid Profile Parameter in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Patients and Correlation with Severity of Disease
Introduction: More than 90% of the deaths caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) occur in the low- and middle -income countries. The main aim of this study was to investigate the lipid profile levels in COPD patients and examine the correlation of total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoproteins, high density lipoproteins, and LDL/HDL risk ratio with COPD stages that a...
متن کاملA STUDY OF MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS DRUG RESISTANCE IN PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS
Tuberculosis remains a major public health problem in both developing and developed countries. Drug-resistant tuberculosis is an increasing health problem and serious challenge to tuberculosis (TB) control programs. Information about the susceptibility pattern of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates against anti-tuberculosis drugs is an important aspect to TB control. The objectives of the s...
